It is ACOC’s goal to prepare our children to be competitive and on equal footing in a global world. We do this by ensuring that our children have access to: state-of-the-art educational resources and enrichment activities; a team of talented and caring people vesting in their success; opportunities to thrive educationally and socially; and, develop into productive, caring, and contributing citizens. And ooh yeah, we make sure our kids have fun!

For more than 30 years, Anacostia Community Outreach Center (ACOC), a community-based 501c3 non-profit, has thrived as a multi-service education and social service agency in the District of Columbia. ACOC provides an array of education, training and workforce development, and crisis intervention opportunities to economically disenfranchised and underserved children, youth, adults, and families living in Washington DC’s most economically and socially depressed communities with regards to income, unemployment, and educational attainment (Targeted Wards 5, 7, & 8).
